The Florence Independent School District is requesting proposals from qualified Construction Managers-at-Risk (CMAR) for the Florence ISD Bond Projects (New Band Hall and Field House to Florence High School, Minor Electrical Improvements to Florence Middle School, and a New Florence Elementary School). Proposals will be received until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2022.  Provide three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (flash drive) of Response to RFP (Section 6 and Bid Form) in a sealed envelope labeled as follows:

This will be a one-step process with the cost proposals and CMAR’s qualifications included in the same submittal. The selected Construction Manager at Risk is to assist the District and its Architect with pre-construction and construction management services.

City of Georgetown

Notice of Public Meeting

The City of Georgetown is considering the annexation and initial zoning of the following property into the city limits.  A Public Hearing will be held for the request at the August 23, 2022 City Council meeting at 6:00pm. City Council meetings are located at the City Council Chambers, 510 W. 9th Street. This Board is now meeting in-person with a quorum present and public is welcome to attend. Additional information on available options for public comment will be provided on the posted agenda.

1. Approximately 28- acres in the Lewis J. Dyches Survey 2 Abstract No. 180 and the Frances A. Hudson Survey Abstract No. 295, generally located approximately 2,700 feet south of SE Inner Loop with a portion of the tract adjacent to FM 1460. As well as approximately 26.7606 acres of right of way of FM 1460 (2022-2-ANX). To be zoned, upon annexation, to the Public Facility (PF) zoning district.

After holding the required public hearing, the City Council will consider an ordinance for the annexation and initial zoning.
