In the United Kingdom, Christmas Pudding — also referred to as Figgy or Plum Pudding — is traditionally served as the finale to a proper British Christmas dinner.
The holiday treat is a brandy-infused steamed cake made with suet, brown sugar, raisins, candied orange peel, eggs, breadcrumbs, nutmeg, cloves, allspice and alcohol. Sometimes brandy is poured over the pudding and it is set alight.
