Georgetown mayoral candidates file campaign financial reports

The Georgetown mayoral election takes place Saturday, May 6, with early voting running April 24-May 2. Residents have the option to vote for incumbent Josh Schroeder or opponent Jonathan Dade.

Campaign financial reports were due April 6 and are made public for city candidates Mr. Dade filed his report late with a religious exemption form included because of delays caused by the Passover holiday at the beginning of April.

Josh Schroeder

The following are the campaign finance reports for Mr. Schroeder. Information was transcribed based on the handwritten reports submitted to the City of Georgetown and may be misspelled.

Mr. Schroeder reported 101 contributions totaling $56,850, and expenditures of $20,932.52. Donors were:

Mr. Dade reported receiving $18.57 in political contributions. No donor identification information was included as individual contributions did not exceed $50. Mr. Dade reported no campaign related expenses.

Georgetown ISD Place 4 board candidates file finance reports

Candidates for Georgetown ISD board of trustees have filed their first set of campaign finance reports, which outline contributions and political expenses during their campaigns.

Georgetown ISD released campaign finance reports of Stephanie Blanck and Marcos Gonzalez, who are opponents for Place 4. The reports outline contributions accepted and expenses for the campaign made up through the filing deadline, April 6.

Place 5 candidate Anthony Blankenship is running unopposed and was not required to file campaign finance reports.
