Cheryl Ann Burton Mullin departed this life on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas in the presence of family after a ten-year battle with cancer. She was 78 years old.
Cheryl was born on July 20, 1945 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the second child of her parents, Charles and Nancy Burton. ‘Cherie’ married her husband of 52 years, Earl Roger Mullin, on July 31, 1971. She worked in both paralegal and insurance professions. She retired the day her grandson was born in 2008. She had been a resident of Georgetown, Texas for 19 years since 2004.
Cheryl loved being with her grandchildren and family, and keeping in touch with her relatives. She enjoyed exercising and book club reading with her friends.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol, her brother Charles and her dogs, Bobo and Morris. She is survived by her husband Earl, sister Candice, son Kevin, daughter Holly, daughter-in-law Shizuko, son-in-law Timothy, and grandchildren Luc and Maya.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday,
September 17, 2023 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, followed by a reception
until 5 p.m. A private interment will be held in New Orleans, as her ashes are laid to rest with her parents and sister.
