We and our readers value your letters. Email your letter to opinion@wilcosun.com and put your letter in the body of the email in plain email type. Include your name, address and a daytime phone number.

Submissions become property of The Williamson County Sun and may be edited for length and clarity. We do not open attachments or accept letters written in all capital letters or incomplete sentences. Not all letters received are published. 

Letters published represent the opinions of the writer and do not represent the viewpoints of the Sun.

Letter guidelines
• Letters must be 350 words or less.
• Do not make accusations about private individuals, businesses or groups. The policy positions of government entities and officials may, however, be politely addressed or questioned.
• When presenting facts or data, be specific and reference the sources of your information.
• Do not name call, attack someone’s intelligence or make assumptions about a person’s beliefs. Hateful or rude language will not be tolerated.
• Do not attack or make generalizations about groups based on their religion, race, gender or sexual orientation.
