A Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond payable to KB Home Lone Star, Inc., on behalf of Round Rock Municipal Utility District No. 1, and in an amount not less than 5% of the total bid must accompany each Bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within 7 days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. The Bidder’s surety will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within 7 days after awarding the contract.

No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Owner’s judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
