Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. The engineer will distribute to prospecting Bidders a digital record of such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to discussions or inquiries arising at the conference.

Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with power of attorney attached or a cashier’s check of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (sum of all bid items) made payable to Ashton Austin Residential, LLC.

A Bid which, in the opinion of the Owner’s staff, deviates significantly from the contract Documents, and which has not been clarified through a written Addenda prior to Bid submittal deadline, shall be considered an exception to the Contract Documents and grounds for the Bid to be rejected. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in Bids received.

Bidders should read and understand all terms and conditions contained in these Contract Documents. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. 24IFB37 Cross Culverts Replacements Phase 2 FY24
