NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Zoning Board of Adjustment

October 3, 2023

The Zoning Board of Adjustments will a hold public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on October 3, 2023. The purpose of the public hearings is to consider an ordinance requesting a variance request on the following properties:

Section 5.02.2 of the Florence Subdivision Ordinance - Minimum square footage of a lot size from 10,000 to approximately 7,000, Section 5.02.3 of the Florence Subdivision Ordinance- Minimum lot width of 80 feet to approximately 60 feet regarding lot dimensions for previously approved plat and Section 5.04.2 Building lines - All lots shall have side yards of not less than ten percent (10%) of the width of the entire lot; provided however, that such side building line shall not be less than seven and one-half (7-1/2) feet from the side street property line; therefore, based on all the above applicant is requesting a one foot (1’ variance on each side of structure) for property within the City of Florence, TX, more commonly known as 203 S Patterson Avenue.

Section 22.2 of the Florence Zoning Ordinance- Applicant is requesting a variance to allow a pre-constructed home used as a residential building totally approximately three hundred fifty (350) square feet be granted in lieu of the required seven hundred fifty (750) square feet within the living area per dwelling unit and Section 24 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding non-conforming structure within the City of Florence, TX, more commonly known as 100 Martha Street.

INVITATION TO BIDDERS

E State Highway 29 Widening

Sealed proposals, in duplicate, addressed to, WBW Single Development Group, LLC - Series 103 ON BEHALF OF WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUD NO. 16, for the construction of Williamson County MUD No. 16 – E State Highway 29 Widening in Williamson County, Texas, will be received at the office of Yalgo Engineering, LLC, 109 W 2nd St. Ste. 201 Georgetown, Texas UNTIL 2:00 PM ON THE DATE OF OCTOBER 9, 2023 at which time the proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. No faxed bids will be accepted. Any proposals received after the closing time will be returned unopened. The bid is for all the Improvements for the project, which includes roadway widening, driveway improvements, striping, and other necessary appurtenances to construct the project. Bids must be submitted on the form included in the bid documents, in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for Williamson County MUD No. 16 – E State Highway 29 Widening.”

Prospective bidders are required to submit Statements of Qualification no later than five calendar days prior to the scheduled bid opening unless a Qualification has already been submitted for a previous Williamson County MUD No. 16 project. Qualification forms are included in the bid documents. Failure to submit the required Statement of Qualification as required will be sufficient cause to reject a contractor’s bid.

Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained by qualified bidders from the office of Yalgo Engineering, LLC, 109 W 2nd St. Ste. 201, Georgetown, TX 78626, beginning September 25, 2023. A non-refundable deposit of one hundred ($100.00) dollars is required for each set of documents purchased. Plans and specifications may be examined without charge at the office of the engineer.

A Cashier’s Check or Certified Check upon a national or state bank or Bid Bond payable to WBW Single Development Group, LLC - Series 103 in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid (Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond), must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. The notice of award of a contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond must be enclosed in the same envelope as the bid. Bids without a Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will not be considered.
