INVITATION TO BIDDERS

Sealed Bids, in duplicate, addressed to WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 29, Attention Rebecca Carter, President, Board of Directors, will be received at the office of the ENGINEER, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., 10814 Jollyville Road, Avallon IV, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78759, until 2 p.m. Local Time, August 31, 2023, then publicly opened and read for “WOLF RANCH WEST SECTION 7C for WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 29, WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TEXAS.”

By submitting a Bid, Bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Contract Documents may be accepted, executed or agreed to through the use of an Electronic Signature, as defined by and in accordance with Owner’s Electronic Signature Rules for Construction Contracts.

Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: furnishing, installing, and providing all labor and materials required for construction of the wastewater lines, storm sewer lines, water lines, roadways, ponds, and miscellaneous items more fully described in the Drawings and Specifications.

Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. A MANDATORY pre-bid conference will be held on August 10, 2023, at 2 p.m., Local Time, at the office of the ENGINEER, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., 10814 Jollyville Road, Avallon IV, Suite 200, Austin, Texas 78759.

Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified or cashier’s check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor.
