Early Childhood Screening Child Find

Do you have a child between the ages of 3-5 or a child that will turn 3 between the months of August 2023 through May 2024, and suspect educational delays due to Speech, Developmental, Cognitive, and/or Vision and Hearing delays from birth? Notice of Public Meeting

The City of Georgetown is considering the annexation of the following property into the city limits. A Public Hearing will be held for the request at the August 22, 2023, City Council meeting at 6:00 pm. City Council meetings are located at the City Council Chambers, 510 W. 9th Street. Additional information on available options for public comment will be provided on the posted agenda.

1. Approximately 17.64 acres of County-owned Right-of-Way situated in part in the L.P. Dyches Survey, Abstract No. 171 and the F. Foy Survey, Abstract No. 229, known as County Road 245 (2023-7-ANX).

After holding the required public hearing, the City Council will consider an ordinance for the annexation.

As a member of the general public, you are invited to be present at such meeting if you desire to discuss the proposed change or advisability of any other change.
