Georgetown resident Edward Pastor brings attention to a historic figure with Central Texas roots. John Sparks, the 10th Governor of Nevada, lived in Georgetown, where he built a beautiful mansion before venturing west in the late 1800s.
Mr. Pastor moved from Pennsylvania to Georgetown in 1975 with his wife and five children.
