This Sunday is Easter, when traditionally here in the South, many gather for a big noon meal after Sunday worship services. This year, I am unable to host such a gathering, so we are going out for lunch.

Support the Palace by attending an intimate deluxe performance by Tenors UnLimited (the “Rat Pack of Opera”) from the United Kingdom on Thursday, March 26, at City Post Chophouse. Drinks and heavy appetizers are part of the package.

The 2026 Spring season of Mainly Art begins on March 28 in downtown Round Rock from 10 a.m., until 3 p.m. This monthly event continues as a vibrant, free, outdoor art market held along historic Main Street from March to June in Prete Plaza and the downtown Paseo.

Frankie’s Pizza and Pasta — specializing in New York style pasta and pizza — was a popular Georgetown restaurant off of Williams Drive at Interstate 35. For 10 years, Frankie’s built its reputation with delicious food and good service at a fair price.
