A busy few weeks at Berry Creek

Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown will be bursting with golf championship activity over the next couple weeks for both women and men. The championships for the men’s and ladies senior and super senior title will occur October 8-9, all under the guidance of Head PGA pro Patrick Chamberlain.

Carol Light guest speaker at WCAG meeting

The October 4 Williamson County Art Guild meeting presenter is local artist Carol Light, one of the founders of the guild. She is a 92-years-old artist and is still going strong with an upcoming solo show at the Georgetown Art Center in February 2023.

Classical Sound presents free concerts, ‘Double Bass Extravaganza’

Classical Sound will present free Double Bass Extravaganza performances October 15 and 16, with the latter taking place in Georgetown. The program features Schubert’s “The Trout Quintet” and Mendelssohn’s “Piano Sextet in D Minor.

St. John’s UMC sets‘Come Home for Christmas Celebration’

St. John’s United Methodist Church has canceled its annual Harvest Fest this year, but will host its Come Home for Christmas Celebration from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. November 19. The event is held in the church’s Family Life Center, 311 East University Avenue.
