It’s Tuna time again in Georgetown

The Palace Playhouse production of A Tuna Christmas debuted to a full house December 2. Ed Howard, Jaston Williams and Joe Sears created Greater Tuna and first presented it in venues around Austin in 1981.

A Georgetown Cup comeback

The Georgetown Cup, which was symbolic of the hottest shooting golf club in the city, disappeared four years ago. Will it reappear in 2023? The Georgetown Cup began as a two-club competition between Georgetown Country Club and Berry Creek Country Club.

A new look for the Sun online

I’m happy to report that the Sun’s website, wilcosun.com, has received a makeover. This is something our subscribers, staff and others in the community have wanted for a long time. After working through logistics this summer, we’re excited to finally be able to make it a reality.

Tastes of the Town by Linda Dwyer Road trips should always include culinary discoveries. Recently, on the way to Chicago, we discovered The Spice Agent in the lovely town of Branson, Missouri. Owner Chris Poulos opened the shop in 2011.
