Cattleman’s Ball is back for 10th year

After cancellations and online alternatives the past few years, The Williamson Museum is back in person with their annual Cattleman’s Ball on October 16.

Don Hewlett Sr. will be the museum’s honoree this year, selected for how he has transformed Williamson County. Past honorees include the Logan Family, Jim Schwertner, the Avery Family, Jack Garey, the Rabb Family, Dan Moody, the Gattis Family and “Big Boy” Hester.

During this fundraiser, the museum will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary.

The event will be held from 5:30-10 p.m., October 16, at High Pointe Estate 5555 County Road 258, Liberty Hill. There will be dinner, dancing, live and silent auctions and more. Proceeds from the event benefit the museum's educational programs, which have served more than 13,000 Williamson County students since October 2021.
