Georgetown bulky-waste pickup changes dates

Bulky pickup days are changing for Georgetown residents. Pickup services will coincide with each customer’s regular trash day beginning Monday, February 6.  Services were previously provided on Saturdays. Waste pickup days vary depending on each residential and commercial address.

Broadway, film veterans to take the stage at Palace Theatre fundraiser

Musical theater fanatics and newbies alike are invited to the Georgetown Palace Theatre’s upcoming “Love, Broadway” show and fundraiser.  The fundraising productions, which feature Broadway veterans Carter Calvert and Raymond Jaramillo McCleod, begin at 7:30 p.m.

Southwestern's 2023 Brown Symposium to spotlight art

Southwestern University’s most anticipated annual event, the Brown Symposium, will take place February 21-23.    The theme for the event’s 41st year will be “Radical Imagination: Art & Social Change.” The university announced its lineup this week.
