    The Texas Fire Ants, a Granny Basketball team, played a charity game against the Georgetown Police Department at East View High School on Saturday, January 17.  The game, won by the Fire Ants with a final score of 55-47,  benefited the Carver Center for Families. 

    The Fire Ants are composed of women aged 50 and older. Players wear uniforms inspired by the 1920s, including black bloom…
