Fentanyl dealers arrested, charged

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office provided updates about two fentanyl cases.
On February 9, Marek Dillard was arrested by U.S. Marshals and DPS officers on a Williamson County Sheriff's Office warrant for murder.

Four-proposition GISD bond totaling $649.5 million to come to voters in May 4 election

Georgetown ISD trustees unanimously voted February 12 to hold a school bond election on Saturday, May 4.
Spread across four proposals, the bond package totals $649.5 million, which, if approved, would result in a one-cent tax increase per $100 property valuation.

New ownership, same Texas Traditions Roofing

Texas Traditions Roofing was started in August of 2014 by Mike Pickel and his brother-in-law Gary Emory. The award-winning roofing company does both residential and commercial work. In January, ownership shifted to Mr. Pickel’s son, Micheal, and Bryan Chisholm.
