State Highway 130 lanes close due to multiple-car accident

The City of Georgetown posted on social media at 8:37 a.m. on Monday that State Highway 130 lanes southbound at the Interstate 35 exit are closed due to a multiple-vehicle accident.
The vehicle accident occurred at Patriot Way, according to the post.

A new book locker funded by the Friends of the Georgetown Public Library could be coming to the Carver Center for Families.
The locker would allow someone to check an item out online through the Georgetown Public Library.

City rejects bids associated with Austin Avenue Bridge rehabilitation
