FINAL RESULTS: Wilco bonds pass with 60% support from residents

Final update November 8, 12:20 a.m.  Final voting totals for Williamson County's two bond propositions show that Proposition A received support from 62.23 percent of county voters, and Proposition B received 59.89 percent support. Both propositions have been approved.  Update 10:50 p.m.

Commissioners point to hunger, homeless needs ahead of holidays

As the holidays are approaching, families are preparing their homes for the festivities: putting up the decorations, preparing the feast in the kitchen, welcoming visiting family and friends.

Light your holiday spirit later this month

The annual Lighting of the Square will happen on November 24 and will give families a chance to enjoy entertainment, donate toys and hear from city and county representatives. The lighting will occur on the east steps of the courthouse.

FINAL RESULT: Emergency Service District 8 sales tax proposition fails

Final update November 8, 12:20 a.m.  With all polling locations reporting results, Emergency Services District 8's sales tax proposition has failed, and only received support from 46.83 percent of voters. Update 10:50 p.m.

Devil Dog delivers delight

The Devil Dog Commemorative Air Force Squadron conducted a fly over for Georgetown’s Rotary Club’s Field of Honor on November 5.

FINAL RESULTS: All Georgetown bond propositions approved by city voters

Update November 8, 12:20 a.m.: City props approved Georgetown residents have approved all four bond propositions on the November 7 election.  With all polling locations reporting results, Proposition A received support from 51.05 percent of voters. Proposition B is saw support from 58.

Justice, healing, hope

The Williamson County Child Advocacy Center held its grand opening in Georgetown on Friday November 3,  after two years of construction. The building will offer abused children and their families services for recovery.
