Eric Hanke officially joined the campaign trail as the Democratic candidate for the Williamson County Tax Assessor-Collector.He will face Republican opponent Catherine Totty in the November election.The afternoon began with a meet-and-greet at Lark and Owl Booksellers on September 12 from 2-4 p.m.

Purse bingo raises more than $300K for Williamson County kids

Funds raised at the Children’s Advocacy Center’s seventh annual Heroes, Hope and Handbags Purse Bingo fundraiser on September 12 are expected to top $300,000.Held at the Sheraton in Georgetown this past weekend, more than 800 attendees dressed in different themes filled 80 tables.
