Former Williamson County deputies found not guilty

Less than a day after closing arguments were given, a Travis County jury Friday, March 8, found former Williamson County deputies James Johnson and Zach Camden not guilty of manslaughter for the in-custody death of Javier Ambler in 2019.  In March 2021, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Camden were charged with second degree manslaughter in the death of Javier Ambler.  If they had been convicted, each man…
