William “Bill” McAuliff
William “Bill” McAuliff, age 67, passed away peacefully at home in Georgetown, Texas, May 14, beside his beloved wife Janet and their cherished dogs, Milo and Goofy.
Bill lived a life defined by strength, faith, dedication, and an exceptional work ethic. He inspired many through the way he prioritized responsibility, integrity, and pride in everything he did. Born with a love for the outdoors, Bill enjoyed fishing, baseball, fast cars, and stock car racing, while remaining a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.
Bill proudly served in the United States Army for two years, including service in North Korea. As an adult learner, he earned his Associate of Science in Business Administration in 2013 with Highest Honors and a 4.0 GPA.
Following retirement as a lab technician, Bill continued working at Sprouts Farmers Market in Georgetown, where coworkers admired his reliability, attention to detail, and strong character.
Bill deeply loved his wife Janet and remained faithful and gracious throughout his illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and “Tootie” McAuliff, and brothers Hayden and Daniel McAuliff.
He is survived by his wife Janet; sisters Eileen Kyler, Cecilia McAuliff, and Jeannette McAuliff-Rizzuto; nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the GoFundMe fundraiser “williammcauliff” in support of Janet. William McAuliff
Bill’s faith, strength, and example will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
