Notice is hereby given that Williamson County, TX is currently preparing its Five-Year Consolidated Plan for FY 2024-2028, and Annual Action Plan for FY 2024. The County’s Five-Year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action will outline funding priorities for the County’s HUD Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The County will conduct public hearings on the needs and priorities for CDBG funds received from HUD for the five-year period FY 2024-2028 and for FY 2024. In accordance with the Final Rule for under 24 CFR Part 91, et. al., the County will prepare a Consolidated Plan and Annual Plan, which will be submitted to HUD on or before August 15, 2024.
The purpose of these hearings is to obtain the views and comments of citizens, public agencies and other interested persons regarding housing and community development needs that may be addressed by CDBG funds during the next five years.
The County will hold three (3) virtual and in-person public hearings on April 4th and April 8th at 5:30pm, and April 11th at 3:00pm.
