Mikey V’s builds new manufacturing facility in Jarrell

Pepper, Dill Pickle Jalapeño and Moroccan Madness hot sauces are only the tip of the iceberg of what is being produced at the new manufacturing facility in Jarrell. With the new machines, Mikey V’s is growing from producing 4,800 to 18,000 bottles of hot sauce per day.

Commissioners hash out improvement projects

The Williamson County Commissioners Court allocated more than half of its designated Capital Improvement Projects budget to construction tasks during the September 9 meeting. Commissioners approved $25,459,211 of the $44.

After three years of anticipation, Isaiah 117 House Williamson County held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday,  September 6, and welcomed its first children transitioning into the foster care system.

Happy Trails: Animal shelter keeps no-kill status

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter has maintained its no-kill designation from the Best Friends Animal Society.During the August 26 Commissioners Court meeting, the shelter received a plaque recognizing the distinction and provided an update on its programs.

Fabulous Fun-raising: Wilco advocacy nonprofits host fashion-themed charity events in Sept.

Williamson County is home to many nonprofits that strive to make the community a better place.  Kicking off the fall fundraising season, two child advocacy groups will pair fashion with compassion in September.

Jarrell Library plans for permanent home

Big changes are coming to the Jarrell Community Library and Resource Center, which plans to begin development on its own property by the end of August.The library, founded in 2019, has operated from the Sonterra Municipal Utility District building at 113 Limestone Terrace.
