Williamson County Livestock show continued Tuesday, December 6, with the Breeding Swine Show at the Williamson County Expo Center. The event continues though the week.

The Williamson County Livestock Show is an annual event at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor. The event began this Sunday, December 4, and runs through the week.

Tree of Angels returns for 10th year in Wilco

Williamson County will hold their 10th Tree of Angels Ceremony at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, at the historic courthouse, 710 South Main Street. This ceremony is a special memorial to the victims of violent crime and their families.

Wilco Homeless Coalition to conduct point-in-time count

Attempting to identify the number of people experiencing homelessness in Williamson County, the Wilco Homeless Coalition will conduct its second point-in-time count this winter. The volunteer-led count is scheduled to take place in late-January.

Groundbreaking for Country Road 366 Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles and the Texas Department of Transportation held a groundbreaking ceremony November 2 for a Country Road 366 bond project.

Wilco burn ban lifted

In the wake of the recent storms, County Judge Bill Gravell lifted the county’s burn ban on Friday, October 28. The ban was put in place 10 days prior on October 18 because of extended dry conditions. “Due to the recent rains and cooler weather, I am lifting the burn ban,” Mr.

Williamson County completes 200th bond project

Williamson County celebrated its 200th completed road bond project with a ribbon cutting earlier this week on County Road 201 in Liberty Hill. Work on the voter-approved road bond project took place on CR 200 from the Capital Metro Railroad to Country Road 201.
