Fans of the Southwestern Pirate sports teams will be on a learning curve this fall for a new reason.
SU has become a member of the Southern Athletic Association with this fall season. That includes all 20 men’s and women’s varsity sports offered by Southwestern.
Southwestern had been a member of the SCAC since 1994 while its football team had competed in the American Southwestern Conference.
