Brown Symposium to explore revolution, rebellion and resistance through art

Art ‘a powerful lens on society’ organizers say

    This year’s Brown Symposium at Southwestern University will explore how art can both drive and reflect social change, symposium co-chairs Eric Selbin and Kimberly Smith said. 

    Mr. Selbin is a professor of political science at the university, while Ms. Smith is a professor of art history. Bringing their two interests together will focus a lens on the power of art.
