Filing period for May 6 elections to open January 18

Georgetown residents will cast ballots for three city government positions and two school board seats in this year’s May 6 elections.

Georgetown City Council positions up for election are the council seats for districts 2 and 6, as well as the mayoral seat. For Georgetown ISD, trustee places 4 and 5 will be on the ballot.
