While February may be halfway gone, there are still opportunities to learn about and honor the lives and contributions of African Americans during Black History Month programming hosted in Georgetown. Throughout the month, the Georgetown Cultural Citizen Memorial Association is offering a series of events following the month’s national theme, “Black Resistance.”
