The Florence City Council approved an 18-month extension of the preliminary plat for the proposed Nightingale subdivision after developers said uncertainty over future water capacity has stalled the project for years.
Split into two phases, Nightingale is a 75-acre subdivision consisting of 348 single-family homes and five acres of commercial property on Farm to Market 970.
