Wilco recognizes volunteers, staff for smooth election

About 69 percent of the 448,421 registered voters in Williamson County participated in the November 5 general election.
Wilco set records for early voting, with an estimated 232,000 voters casting their ballots ahead of election day, according to Elections Administrator Bridgette Escobedo. Officially, 311,074 county residents cast a vote this fall.
