Tax rate, budget of $560 million for Wilco residents

The Williamson County Commissioners Court unanimously approved the county budget and tax rate for the 2024 fiscal year.
The budget is priced at $560,109,974 with a tax rate of 37.9282 cents per 100 valuation, which is a 7.74 percent increase. The new rate will increase property taxes on the average homestead residence by approximately $130.
