Weekend showers dropped 1-5 inches, no damage reported

After a couple of months with little to no rain, Central Texas experienced a gloomy, wet weekend.

Williamson County received widespread rainfall late last week and into the weekend, with the heaviest accumulations west and northwest of Georgetown. Among 48 precipitation gauges across the county, totals from October 1-4 ranged from 1.11 to 5.25 inches.
