With Williamson County ranked the third healthiest county in Texas, 12 percent of people under 65 don’t have health insurance, still better than most of the state.
But with unforeseen circumstances leading to a lack of money to pay for health care and the current poverty rate at 6.3 percent, county residents can turn to indigent health care as a potential solution.
