Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed builders help Wilco kids
‘No child sleeps on the floor in our town’
Eli Taylor and Bryon McDaniel stain wood Saturday, March 4.
Wilco Sleep in Heavenly Peace was founded by Ron Shelley, left. Ben Lake, right, is the program coordinator.
Wielding an assortment of power tools, volunteers believing every child needs their own bed got together March 4 to build 20 bunk beds for kids in Williamson County.
Their sawing, hammering, staining and assembling was inspired by Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nationwide nonprofit that builds and delivers beds to children who otherwise would sleep on couches, blankets and floors.
