Community remembers, pays respects
Three trees stand in the County Courthouse 26th District Courtroom for the 11th annual Tree of Angels Ceremony. This year there is a children’s tree for kids to place an ornament of their loved one and for children who have died because of violent crime.
A table shows the list of names of the victims of violent crime. The ceremony lasted an hour with a lighting of the Peace, Hope and Healing Candles, speeches and musical performances.
Williamson County’s 11th annual Tree of Angels ceremony took place Tuesday, December 5, at the county courthouse. During the event, friends and families of victims and survivors of violent crime bring an angel ornament to place on the tree in remembrance of those affected, many of which included names and pictures of those to be remembered. ...
