Georgetown Pride comes out to community with block party

On October 26, new nonprofit Georgetown Pride held a “coming out block party” in the Georgetown Public Library parking lot to celebrate the organization's first public appearance. Georgetown Pride’s goal is to encourage the community to come together and to support LGBTQ+ individuals, allies and their families.  The organization was started by another LGBTQ+ pride group in the city, PFLAG…
