September 2021 overnight fire killed 75 dogs
Thirteen families whose dogs died in the 2021 fire at the Ponderosa Pet Resort in Georgetown have settled their claims against the facility’s owner, Austin attorney Ard Ardalan said October 3.
Seventy-five dogs — every animal in the facility — died in an overnight fire three years ago on September 18, 2021. Families in the lawsuit collected a payment of $75,000.
