First time’s the charm for Red Poppy Festival poster artist

A first-time entrant and reduction printmaking newbie, Georgetown artist Emily Latham is the winner of this year’s Red Poppy Festival poster contest. 

Her work — entitled “Valiant” — was announced last month by the Georgetown Convention and Visitors Bureau and will be featured on the festival posters and on lamppost banners around the Square this spring.
