Georgetown continues Garey Park updates, expansion

    More amenities are on the way to Garey Park, as a five-year project enters its second phase. 

    The next phase of improvements include an expansion to Garey House, changes to the park entry, an amphitheater, three group cabins, a retreat pavilion, a RV host site, parking and a play ranch. 

    The park is named after the late Jack Garey, who donated the property to the city. The project is funde…
