Georgetown ISD Bridges students step into new career field of cooking

Bridges, Georgetown ISD’s career training program for developmentally-disabled youths, is branching out into the world of cooking and dining.
Partnering with GISD’s culinary program to learn vocational and life skills, Bridges now offers another pathway to independence for its students. The students, ages 18-22, have a range of developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down’s Sy…
