    Georgetown is advancing work on an Urban Forest Master Plan, which would provide long-term guidance on protecting the city’s tree canopy while evaluating the costs and benefits of tree-related projects. 

    To create the plan, a Request for Proposal will be advertised in August. Contract approval could take place in October.
