Streets around downtown will be closed in the lead up to the Red Poppy Festival that will take place April 26-28.  The festival will have market vendors, food, activities and stage acts for the entire family in downtown Georgetown.  Starting at 6 a.m., Friday, April 26, Austin Avenue will be closed from Sixth to Ninth Streets.
