Georgetown city staff are looking at how Senate Bill 1883 could affect the municipality’s ability to collect development impact fees.
Approved during the 89th Texas Legislative session, Senate Bill 1883 changes the way the city can amend, adopt and administer impact fees, which are paid by developers to help cover the cost of infrastructure that would support their projects.
