Georgetown ISD Superintendent Devin Padavil announced December 19 that the district closed last week on the purchase of a 64.82-acre property in the southeast quadrant of the district.
The site is large enough to accommodate two campuses — an elementary school and middle school — which were both identified as needs during a recent Citizens Advisory Committee process within the district.
