Georgetown ISD trustees on August 17 approved a resolution increasing the property tax rate for Fiscal Year 2027 and placed a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election on the November 3 ballot.
With this move, the tax rate would increase from $1.0506 per $100 in property valuation to $1.1106 if approved by voters, and could result in around $8 million extra for the district operation’s budget this com…
