A history walk about the native peoples of Georgetown will be offered by local historian Helen Cordes on November 29.
The walk will begin at 9 a.m. and attendees will walk the San Gabriel River path, about 1.75 miles with stops at benches.
Lipan Apache Georgetown residents Lisa and Ben Nava will also be there to talk about their efforts to bring a powwow to Georgetown in 2024.
