With the new fire station near Teravista, and a pilot EMS model, there are more green areas in southern Georgetown, showing response times under 10 minutes.
Over the next two fiscal years, the Georgetown Fire Department will design, build and put into operation an eighth fire station at Westinghouse Road and Farm to Market 1460 and a pilot EMS model on State Highway 29.
