Roadwork on Williams Drive in Georgetown causes delays

Road work started earlier this week on Williams Drive from Serenada Drive to Lakeway Drive.
The City of Georgetown project will create raised center medians and new landscaping features, while upgrading street lighting, traffic signals and intersections. This entire phase of work will run from Austin Avenue to Jim Hogg Road. Construction is estimated to be complete in late 2027.
